PSMA Australia continued to enhance its core group of five datasets being:

  • CadLite
  • G-NAF
  • Transport & Topography
  • Postcode Boundaries
  • Administrative Boundaries

G-NAF key statistics summary

  • Nationally, the August, 2019 update of G-NAF shows an increase of 63,180 addresses overall which equates to an increase of 0.43%.  The total number of addresses in G-NAF now stands at 14,718,218 of which 13,963,897 or 94.88% are principal
  • The Geocode reliability for ‘within address site’ plus ‘near or possibly within address site’ for the reliability of principal addresses in G-NAF is now made up of 96.87% address level, an increase of 0.03% since the May 2019 release, 3.06% street locality addresses and 0.06% locality addresses
  • Confidence 2 addresses has increased by 36,132 with the percentage mix falling slightly from 67.16% to 67.12% of principal addresses

Cadlite key statistics summary

The August 2019 data release of CadLite includes updates to both the Cadastre and Property
themes in all jurisdictions.

  • Nationally, this update of Cadastre includes:
    • 15,000,485 polygon features – an increase of 43,711 parcels (0.29%) from the previous release
    • 2,313,920 point features – an increase of 20,067 points (0.87%) from the previous release
  • The Property Layer includes:
    • 11,619,022 polygon features – a decrease of 132,561 parcels (1.14%) from the previous release
    • 529,341 point features – an increase of 20,067 points (3.79%) from the previous release

Transport & Topography key statistics summary

There are now 2,775,467 km of roads within the Transport & Topography dataset. This has decreased overall by 1819 km since May 2019.
