PSMA’s recent Release 4 of Geoscape heralded the following milestones:
- Inclusion for the first time of buildings data for Brisbane, Gold Coast, Wollongong and Hobart
- The number of buildings contained within the dataset increased by 1.6 million to a total of over 8.8 million
- Surface cover data at thirty metre resolution for Western Australia was introduced for the first time
In addition to the above, Release 4 saw increased coverage across ACT, NSW, SA, QLD, TAS and WA as follows:
- Trees at two (2) metre resolution increased to cover 4,087 square kilometres
- Surface Cover at two (2) metre resolution increased to cover 17,572 square kilometres
- Surface Cover at thirty (30) metres resolution increased to cover 6,783,000 square kilometres
